HUNTER/SKINNER - HIDDEN TANG - EBONY
These blades are specifically designed for hunting and skinning in the field and are blackened to minimize light reflections and glare which could spook potential game. Made from hi-carbon 80CrV2 steel, they will keep a wicked edge from start to finish of the dressing process. These are top quality blades sourced from world renowned bladesmith in Finland – Brisa.
Tough and hardy, this knife has a chunky acrylic mocca and brass bolster/finger guard to add additional strength to the blade and prevent blood or water ingress into the seal of the hardwood handle. The ergonomic handle is made of unusual streaky ebony.
The veg-tanned leather sheaths are saddle-stitched for strength and are hand-made to fit the specifications of each individual knife. All sheaths also come with a matching leather belt loop with snap fasteners. This gives you the opportunity to wear the knife low on the hip as well as high on the hip depending on requirements. The sheath also has a Sam Brown fastening which goes over the bolster to secure the knife solidly in the sheath.
